Hotel was well-organised and lovely, we enjoyed this place.
Everything was great with tidy and modest rooms. The room we had included central heating, TV and a writing table. The location of the hotel was favourable, in the centre...

I needed to spend a cheap night in Tunis before catching a plane out the next day and decided to go the cheap option. It was basic and clean and suited the purpose well. Close to the Medina (which is no great chop) but allowed me to walk around and digest a fair few shwarmas
Not the hotel, but I found Tunis pretty dull

Only one person was polite, and that was the General Manager
The hotel is in a dreadful location. The street it's on is filthy with heaps of rubbish, car repair shops, and broken sidewalks, making it virtually impossible to walk anytime. The hotel itself is in dire need of a complete overhaul. The building is very old and it shows. Also, the staff is quite rude and lose their temper at the slightest comment. Breakfast (tea/coffee & toast) was never ready on time, and the all-male bar crowd is quite loud and rowdy all night.

The 1930s-type design and atmosphere of the hotel was great, as was the well-patronised restaurant.
Absolutely plagued by mosquitoes in our room at night, ruined two out of three nights' sleep.
